The Drive

As I start the 2nd month of my project 365 I find myself sitting in the car on the way to a day-long meeting:

The Drive

First off, as you can tell, I’m not moving in this photograph. Please remember to always practice safe photography :-)

I have been fortunate these past 5 years or so to have a very short commute to work, less than 2 miles, so anytime I have to drive farther than that it’s a big deal. Today I needed to go about 10 miles in morning rush hour traffic. Compared to my commutes in Chicago this wasn’t bad at all but the 30 minutes seemed very long to me considering I normally only spend 5 minutes or less driving to work.

By the layout of the dash can anyone tell what brand of car I drive?

I've used all three to buy my camera equipment (and a lot of other stuff!) and I highly recommend them. You don't pay any more but you will help keep this site up and running. Thanks!

Day 14-Designated Driver

Tonight we met some friends at one of the local beer bars here in Atlanta, The Porter, for some dinner and a few beers. I enjoyed a couple of nice Imperial Stouts, a really funky Gueze and  nice Scotch Ale. After that I was in no conditon to drive. Luckily Pam was since she doesn’t drink. So she got to drive me home and put up with me taking pictures a long the way. Not having my tripod with me I had to crank the ISO up to 6400 and shoot at f/3.5 to get this semi-sharp image:

It was a fun evening and I’m fortunate that Pam puts up with me and my “photography geek” stuff.
